“Friendly greeting upon arrival, staff were very helpful.
The room was bigger than anticipated which was a pleasant surprise, we really liked how the bedroom was separate from the living area.
We wish there more hooks to hang coats, clothes etc and the bathroom was a little smaller than where we have stayed before as one of us has slight mobility issues so moving around the bathroom was tricky but not difficult. We will defintley be staying again, perhaps try the next size up. ”

“This was a great stay overall. Fully functional kitchen and washer/drier. However, no room cleaning or replenishing of towels unless you asked. But I’d stay again. Also, they have AC, many hotels don’t, so that was a plus we didn’t know is a must have. ”

“Loved everything about The Moat House; the house and grounds were lovely, the room had everything we needed, the food, the breakfast, bar snack and evening meal where perfect and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant.What we loved the most was all the little places you could find to just sit outside, beside the water and also that for breakfast and evening meal you were looking out onto water again.
We will definitely come again and highly recommend it. Thankyou for our stay.”

“2nd visit to this beautiful boutique hotel. Loved the rooms,food & beautiful gardens with plenty of tables & seating areas. Staff very helpful & friendly. Car park close by you do have to pay however we downloaded app and where able to top up following morning. Very central to everything you need bars restaurants shopping and great walks near by. Would highly recommend ”

“Absolutely loved this hotel and would definitely go back. It was a real gem, had lovely seating areas downstairs, a huge bedroom with really good quality furniture and amenities. "Struttura meravigliosa nel mezzo della campagna inglese. Servizio di reception molto lento. Colazione scarsa per un hotel del genere. Condizione delle aree comune imbarazzante, con ad esempio finestre ed infissi corrosi dalla ruggine che lasciano passare spifferi gelati durante la colazione"
"Sono stata in questo hotel per lavoro per tre notti. Solitamente scelgo il Leonardo in Europa come catena di hotel in quanto mi trovo benissimo con le stanze ed il servizio. La posizione non è male, essendo situato abbastanza in centro ma questo hotel non è stato per nulla come gli altri Leonardo in cui sono stata. Le stanze sono piccole e per arrivarci ci vuole molto tempo in quanto non so che succede con i quattro ascensori ma si creano code per aspettarli. Inoltre la cosa più deludente è stata il servizio ho chiesto due sere di fila la colazione d’asporto ed entrambe le mattine si sono dimenticati o non lo hanno scritto. La colazione inoltre rispetto altri altri Leonardo non ha molte opzioni senza lattosio e senza glutine sebbene i camerieri siano gentili.
In sintesi non ritornerei in questo hotel visto il servizio."
